Stop Motion Animation: Animated Painting and Automatic Writing

This workshop will introduce participants to 2D stop motion animation with painting, collage, and drawing. By using mixed media materials participants will create an animated drawing series. Words, phrases and images can be incorporated inspired by Carl Jung’s idea of the “active imagination.” Screenings will include works by Jodie Mack, William Kentridge and more.
All levels, beginners encouraged.
